Went to Frenchy's... yummy! Fish spread, steamed mussels, cajun and grilled mahi mahi sandwiches... so good!

Walked uptown in Dunedin with Tim, Ray, and the doggies. Stopped at the webcam in the center of town. Went to the Web site on Tim's phone and took pictures of our webcam pictures on the site. Pictures of pictures of us looking at our pictures...

Honeymoon Island beach. Sunshine, clear waters, white sand... love it!

We're in Flori-duh! Went to the beach with Tim. No oil globs floating around... yay!

Didn't stay in Alabama long. However, we did get a free case of Gatorade and five gallons of gas free... I love free stuff! =]

Alabama... state number 24... half way there!

Playing in the water in Mississippi and playing with a toad they found and named Freddie. Ugh.

Playing soccer in Mississippi.

Walked all through the French Quarter. Girls had to call Papa when they got to Bourbon St. Listened to some music and looked around. It looked pretty good... making a nice recovery from Katrina. It was so hot that we didn't stay as long as we would have liked, but it was still super fun.

New Orleans cemetary. Very cool. About 20 minutes into walking through the cemetary, Aiyanna says... "I think we've had just about enough of this death trap". LOL.

House up on stilts in the water. Road up on pillars in the water.

Superdome

This is a picture of the oil in the Gulf. You can see the little spot where it's clear. Everything else was brown and streaked with clumps of oil. Sickening!

Did I say they went wading in Lake Charles? I guess I meant swimming. =]

Amadeus and the girls went wading in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Tessa said the water smelled like sulphur. I liked the flying fish jumping all over the place. Maybe they were trying to get out of the water that smelled like sulphur?

Made it to hot, sticky, humid, mosquito-infested Louisiana. It was beautiful but I definitely don't recommend visiting in July.

More Texas...

More Texas. Tower. Gold building in Dallas. Cool bird in a tree with a really long tail.
Had a terrific visit with Terry. It was sooo great to see him again. :0)
